My classroom welcomes me every morning after my school assembly. It is a beautiful place where I can dream, laugh, study and sometimes get scolded by the teacher.

My Classroom – More Than Four Walls
My classroom is not very big, but it gives rise to my dreams. There are rows of wooden and colorful benches, a green board in front, and big windows through which the sunlight comes in and plays inside. Every morning, when I enter my classroom, I feel my classroom get bigger.
The walls are decorated with charts, drawings and rhymes. Some charts are losing their color and becoming old and faded, but I like them because the charts are quite interesting. My classroom is simple, but this place is always special for me.
A Place Where My Mind Sometimes Wander
I try to pay attention when my teacher takes lessons. But honestly my mind always loves to play because my lessons get boring as the day grows. My eyes stay on the pages of the lessons but my mind sometimes wanders, my thoughts run outside this classroom looking for new adventures.
I imagine playing with my friends, running in the field, feeling like going to the washroom without any reason, or smelling the tiffin that my mummy prepared for me.
When my teacher suddenly calls my name, I quickly come back to attention and try hard to answer the question she asked. My classmates laugh loudly and my teacher gives me a smile or sometimes gives punishment.
Benches, Green Board and Quiet Laughter
My classroom is full of my friends. We sit together, share pencils, books, rubber and crayons, and sometimes share little secrets. During free periods, we take other’s pencil boxes from their bags, we whisper our jokes laughing softly so that our teacher does not notice.
Even during serious periods, a small smile from a friend makes the classroom warmer and easier. The benches are hard, but the friendship in my classroom is soft and comfortable. We learn lessons and exchange our things, but the most important thing we learn is kindness and friendship.
My Teacher and the Blackboard
My teacher is the most important person in my classroom. Standing near the Blackboard(Green Board), my teacher explains the lesson with patience. My teacher gives small examples and stories to make us understand what is written on the board.
Sometimes I do not understand the lesson, I feel nervous but my teacher notices it quietly. My teacher explains it without getting angry. This makes me feel at ease and safe, and I could easily ask questions without getting scared. The board might get erased every day, but the lessons stay in my heart for long.
Small Moments That Makes Big Memories
Every classroom has a class monitor and class rules but it also has memories. From surprise tests to birthday candy, my classroom witnessed everything. Sometimes we feel bored or excited, and sometimes we feel proud of our performance.
I may forget my lessons in the future but I will never forget how I got nervous during my exams, my friend’s support, and the games period which I will carry with me.
Why My Classroom is Special to Me
My classroom is the place where my teacher takes lessons, teaches discipline, friendship, patience and confidence. I might get bored in my classroom but this place helps me grow better.
It is a place where mistakes are made and allowed but learning goes on.

Final Thoughts- A grateful Heart
One day, I will leave this school and my classroom. The benches, colorful charts and friends will remain, but I will move on. Still, my heart will run back to the school, in the classroom where I will sit, listen to my lessons and dream of my adventures.
My classroom is not a room.
It is my golden memory that I will carry forever.
